If you have encountered a direct threat of suicide on Facebook, please immediately contact law enforcement. For reports in the United States, we also recommend that you contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a 24/7 hotline, at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). If possible, please encourage the user who posted the content to contact Lifeline as well. For reports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, we recommend that contact Samaritans at 08457 90 90 90 (UK) or 1850 60 90 90 (Republic of Ireland).
