Reasons to hate facebook:

1. People use it to punish you for real or imagined bad behavior instead of deal with you directly.
2. People you work with use anything you do on facebook against you for political advantage.
3. Acquaintances friend you on facebook, pretend to be your friend, then without notice drop you on facebook. That is annoying and rude.
4. Relatives, especially non-immediate relatives, attack your personal postings on facebook with embarrassing rigor and private details if you make the mistake of having an opinion differing from theirs.
5. People have been fired from their jobs because of what they posted on facebook. That's creepy. Corporate enforcers abound.
6. Facebook developers can see information you mark private.
7. Facebook CEO is opposed to you having any privacy on facebook, but he is ok with himself having lots of privacy. Isn't that a little hypocritical? Uh, yes, duh.
8. Facebook lets fb apps do whatever they want with your information, including sell it to third parties. Oh right, that's not true. That was just an accident. Ooops, that'll never happen again.
9. Frenemies can post unflattering photos of you on fb. That has the potential to start world wars. Seriously.
10. Facebook cooperates with oppressive regimes in ways that helps the oppressive regimes punish people who disagree with them. I know sounds like the US, but there are a few extra super duper oppressive regimes. I know because I read about them on the internet.
11. Facebook is scary. Not as scary as google, but it has a scarier name, plus they get you to trust them and think you can have privacy, but you can't.
12. Use twitter. They let you make up funny names and talk to your friends who also have funny names. They don't pretend to have any privacy, so talk in code, everyone else talks in code also. #winning #tigerblood
